Hvem er Herrens Mark?

Herrens Mark is the only supplier of fermented red clover extract in the world. The company owns exclusive rights to market and sell fermented red clover extract. Fermented red clover extract is currently sold in more than eight countries, but the plan is to make the product available in more countries over the next few years.

Our vision

At Herrens Mark, we believe that the processes that help balance the body and soul can be given a natural boost. We do not sell miracle cures that eliminate any feeling of being alive and being a human being. Instead, we are sharply focused on producing extracts that support the body’s natural processes in collaboration with specialists and leading figures. Put another way: the plants are the lifeblood here. We try to maximise on the vitality and power of the plants so that they can contribute to human well-being in a harmonious way, without synthetic production.

Selecting and developing herbs – and different varieties of those herbs – is therefore something we work purposefully with. We have, for example, participated in a major trial, the goal of which was to find old red clover varieties with a high content of isoflavones, also known as phytoestrogen.

Sustainability

We pride ourselves at Herrens Mark on being certified in farming the land organically. We think this is the most sustainable and gentle way to farm the land. So, no pesticides have been used or toxic substances discharged into the fields where our herbs are grown. In Denmark, this is a form of production that is not taken lightly, and in order to be able to use the organic label, the Danish authorities come out and check the production conditions several times a year.

And it goes without saying that we have not used genetic modification to produce the properties in the herbs that we value. Instead, we have been to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault to find the seeds of old red clover varieties in order to source the varieties that do best under the conditions.

Our electricity also comes from our own solar panels located on the roofs of the barns, and we try as far as possible to live according to the seasons.
